Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 9g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies and calms ascending Liver Yang.
With Xia Ku Cao, for dizziness and headaches due to extreme rebellion of Liver Fire.
With Bai Zhi, for pain in the eyebrow and eye socket due to Wind-Heat with Phlegm.
Hb. Houttuyniae Yu Xing Cao 9g Clears Heat, relieves toxicity, reduces swellings and abscesses and expels pus, especially in the Lungs.
With Jie Geng, for Lung abscess.
Spica Prunellae Xia Ku Cao 9g Clears Liver Fire and clears Hot Phlegm.
Flos Chrysanthemi Ju Hua 9g Disperses Wind, clears Heat, calms the Liver and detoxifies.
Rx. Angelicae Dahuricae Bai Zhi 9g Expels Wind, eliminates Dampness, unblocks the nasal passages, reduces swelling, eliminates toxins, expels pus and alleviates pain.
With Huang Qin, for Wind-Heat headaches.
Fr. Xanthii Cang Er Zi 9gt Disperses Wind and Dampness and opens the nasal passages.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 9g Opens the Lungs, spreads Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, benefits the throat, expels pus and opens and raises Lung Qi, directing the effects of other herbs to the upper body.
With Bai Zhi, for ulcerated abscess where pus is being discharged slowly.
Sm. Plantaginis Che Qian Zi 9g Promotes urination, clears Damp-Heat, clears Liver Heat, clears the Lungs, expels Phlegm and stops coughing.
